Rigid Packaging Production Manager

Brief Role:
esponsible for overseeing the production operations of rigid packaging, ensuring efficiency, quality, and compliance with safety standards. Manages production schedules, resources, and team performance to meet organizational goals.

Responsibilities:

1    Plan, organize, and oversee daily production activities for rigid packaging.
2    Ensure production targets are met while maintaining quality and safety standards.
3    Manage and train production staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
4    Coordinate with maintenance and quality departments to resolve production issues.
5    Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with supply chain for material availability.
6    Implement and maintain lean manufacturing practices.
7    Prepare production reports and present performance metrics to senior management.
8    Ensure compliance with company policies, health and safety regulations.
9    Drive initiatives for cost reduction and process optimization.
10    Support development and change initiatives within the production department.
11    Comply with the written policies, standards, rules and regulations of the Company.
12    Perform all other duties and activities assigned to them by their superiors within the realm of their knowledge provided it is not hazardous or dangerous to their person.
13    Follow health and safety regulations and procedures intended to prevent accidents or injury in workplaces or public environments.

Job Requirements:

Experience: 7 years of experience in manufacturing, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field.
Professional Certificate: Lean Six Sigma, PMP, or equivalent.
