Job Title: Purchase Supervisor

Job Summary:
The Purchase Supervisor oversees the procurement team, ensuring the timely and cost-effective acquisition of goods and services while maintaining high quality standards. This role involves supplier management, order tracking, and coordination with internal departments to meet business needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and guide the procurement team to achieve departmental goals.
  • Develop and implement procurement strategies to optimize cost, quality, and delivery timelines.
  • Source, evaluate, and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors.
  • Approve and monitor purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
  • Negotiate prices, terms, and conditions with suppliers to maximize value.
  • Track and resolve procurement issues, such as delayed deliveries or quality discrepancies.
  • Maintain accurate records of supplier performance, purchase history, and pricing trends.
  • Collaborate with inventory, production, and finance departments to forecast and meet procurement needs.
  • Stay updated with market trends and supplier innovations to improve procurement processes.

Requirements / Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field.
  • Proven experience in procurement/purchasing (3-5 years) with supervisory experience.
  • Strong leadership, negotiation, and analytical skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office; ERP systems experience preferred.
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
