Job Title: Purchase Representative

Job Summary:
The Purchase Representative is responsible for sourcing, procuring, and managing the supply of goods and services needed by the company. This role ensures timely delivery, cost efficiency, and quality standards while maintaining strong relationships with suppliers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Source and identify potential suppliers based on quality, price, and delivery capability.
  • Prepare and issue purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
  • Monitor and follow up on orders to ensure timely delivery.
  • Negotiate prices, terms, and conditions with suppliers to achieve cost savings.
  • Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and supplier performance.
  • Collaborate with internal departments (e.g., inventory, production) to understand purchasing needs.
  • Resolve any issues related to delayed deliveries, damaged goods, or discrepancies.
  • Stay updated with market trends, new products, and suppliers.

Requirements / Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field.
  • Proven experience in procurement or purchasing (0-2 years preferred).
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office; experience with SAP systems is a plus.
  • Attention to detail and ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
