Reports To: Supply Chain Director / Operations Director
Location: Riyadh, Saudi Arabia

Job Summary

The Purchase Manager is responsible for managing the procurement function, ensuring the timely and cost-effective acquisition of materials, equipment, and services required for manufacturing operations. The role focuses on supplier management, cost optimization, and maintaining quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement purchasing strategies aligned with business objectives
  • Manage day-to-day procurement activities and purchasing team
  • Identify and evaluate potential suppliers and maintain vendor database
  • Negotiate pricing, contracts, and terms with suppliers
  • Monitor purchasing budgets and control procurement costs
  • Ensure timely procurement of raw materials and services
  • Coordinate with production, warehouse, and finance departments
  • Track and report key procurement KPIs
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procurement procedures
  • Manage supplier performance and conduct periodic evaluations
  • Handle import and local purchasing processes
  • Resolve procurement-related issues and delays
  • Implement continuous improvement initiatives in procurement processes

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in purchasing or procurement
  • At least 3 years in a managerial role
  • Experience in manufacturing or industrial sector preferred
  • Strong negotiation and supplier management skills
  • Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar)
  • Strong analytical and cost control skills
  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities
