Corporate Environment, Health, Safety & Security Director

Brief Role:
Corporate EHSS Director is responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing the organization’s global strategies and programs related to environmental sustainability, occupational health, workplace safety, and physical security.

Responsibilities:

1    Develop and execute a comprehensive EHS&S strategy aligned with corporate goals.
2    Lead cross-functional teams to integrate EHS&S into business operations and culture.
3    Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety regulations (e.g., OSHA, ISO 45001, NEBOSH, LGC, and Lead Auditor “45001,14001”).
4    Implement proactive safety programs, audits, and training.
5    Develop and maintain physical security policies and procedures.
6    Build and mentor a high-performing EHS&S team.
7    Evaluate training effectiveness and update content based on feedback and evolving risks.
8    Lead investigations into environmental, health, safety, or security incidents.
9    Justify investments in safety equipment, training, and sustainability projects.
10    Comply with the written policies, standards, rules and regulations of the Company.
11    Perform all other duties and activities assigned to them by their superiors within the realm of their knowledge provided it is not hazardous or dangerous to their person.
12    Follow health and safety regulations and procedures intended to prevent accidents or injury in workplaces or public environments.

 

Job Requirements:

Experience: 10 years of experience in EHSS field including 2 years in managing role.
Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health, Safety Engineering, or related field
Professional Certificate: CSP, CIH, CEM, CPP, ISO 45001, NEBOSH, LGC, or Lead Auditor “45001,14001” Certification.
